So disappointed by the turn of this race in the past week. Months of intentional, positive messaging at the doors all for this unprovoked smear from Antonio. And instead of walking it back, his coalition misdirected and tried to reverse the blame once the gloves were off. Why?
Campaigns can get messy, but making up baseless & damaging lies about @ReynosoBrooklyn is unacceptable and unbecoming of a candidate for Congress.
I am calling on @claireforny to apologize for these ridiculous and divisive attacks. We deserve more.

As someone who has voted on the @NYWFP line for numerous elections, their party leadership’s conduct in NY7 will make me reconsider whether they are in fact, any different than the centrist Democrats they once proudly confronted.

BUT checking the current FEC filing (updated to 6/4) "Line 20a:Individual refunds" the names listed are different donors?
Seems like these donations actually hasn't been returned.
He returned the money. He doesn’t take their support because he doesn’t share their values.

.@MicahLasher loves to drop the big names in Democratic politics he’s worked for, but when describing his work for disgraced AG Eric Schneiderman he instead talks about his time in the "state attorney general’s office," w/o naming Schneiderman, who resigned in 2018 after four women said he physically abused them.
Despite omitting his name in campaign lit and stump speeches, Lasher has accepted $2,500 in donations from Schneiderman. Lasher's campaign refused to say whether the donations will be returned.

The fact is Antonio's campaign has maxxed out donors who are also AIPAC donors along with major real estate developers.
At a WFP convention in 2024 membership broadly voted to have "Not on Our Dime" act go before "higher-ups". Two years later we find out it was shot it down.
