This Sunday, 7 September 2025 at 3pm the Government is running the second nationwide test of the UK’s Emergency Alerts system. These tests are important to ensure everyone in the UK is familiar with the system so that when it is needed, it can effectively protect people and properties during life-threatening events. Latest update: Following a further fix overnight to a technical fault impacting voice calls on our network, we’ve been monitoring the situation throughout the day and services have been running as normal.
