2028 Ashland-Greenwood DS/L Averi Bridges has committed to Penn State. She averaged 4.0 digs per set and served 127 aces in her first two seasons with the Bluejays.

I am so thrilled to announce that I have verbally commited to Penn State to continue my academic and athletic career! First I want to thank God for making this opportunity possible and for leading me exactly where I need to be! I also want to thank my family for supporting me and being with me every step of the way! And a special thanks to Blake Rawlins for helping me become the volleyball player I am today! I am grateful for everyone at VCN including my teammates who have all been apart of this journey! Lastly thank you to Coach Katie, Brian, Megan, and Abby for giving me this opportunity to be apart of this amazing program and culture at Penn State! Can’t wait to be a Nittany Lion!! Averi Bridges has verbally committed to Penn State. The 5-foot-8 libero from Ashland-Greenwood is the No. 25 overall 2028 prospect by PrepVolleyball and ranked No. 34 by PrepDig. She plays club for VCNebraska.
