Replacement services for closed stations are also inconsistent, sometimes the info is very nicely and clearly presented, sometimes it's a confusing mess.

also it's bit odd the majority of gates at central are designated exit at 2pm, when more people seem to be entering the station. this honestly seems like something that should be easily monitored and automated

The only one of these I didn't know was Louise Elliot. She's totally normal abc.net.au/news/2022-10-02/t… And also a landlord in the state with the worst rental affordability. abc.net.au/news/2020-12-18/p…

Listening to @Milo_Edwards complain about the ATO has reminded me of my experience. Was treasurer for a small NFP. self assessed as tax exempt using an ATO form, but you can't submit it in lieu of a tax return. The ATO would call and email every year asking us to lodge a return

It's almost as if "cancelling" isn't a real thing.
I remember when a bunch of vocal people online were trying to “cancel” Chris Pratt. Now he has the two biggest movies in America, one making a billion dollars.

Reading this report from @ABSStats Interesting though I would like to see the change in number of rental properties. In Qld the number of rental properties dropped during the property boom and has not recovered, would like to see national numbers abs.gov.au/statistics/detail…

Though author is from the RBA, so probably doesn't want to admit that dropping the cash rate to a record low caused a property boom that led to property investors buying thousands of rental and not re leasing them.
