People on welfare overwhelmingly not from the UK. Government doesn't want to tell UK citizens because they will get mad. Government calls anger "disgusting". I can't even wrap my head around how insane this is. Foreigners shouldn't receive welfare at all. They should either succeed or get out. You can't have open borders and a welfare state for immigrants. You will be colonized by masses of subfunctional people who will destroy the country. Of course UK citizens are mad. They love their country and are not STUPID.
Labour has said they fear releasing data on the nationalities of people allocated social housing could lead to “disgusting” abuse on social media. newstalk.com/news/housing-5-…

I remember during COVID when the government's big idea was the "Test and Trace" app which allowed people to check-in to venues using a QR code and trace people who had been in proximity to someone who had the *checks notes* deadly virus. Unfortunately for the IT geniuses in government, the app required IOS version 13.5 or later or android version 6.0 later to run. Which meant that lots of people with relatively new phones were unable to download and run the app even if they wanted to. With debate currently raging about social media bans and imminent digital ID, it's worth remembering that no matter how technologically incompetent you think the government is, it's still not enough.

Twenty five years ago, it was: “I despise what you say, but will defend to the death your right to say it.” Now it’s “You better say what we think, or we’ll ruin your life, you fascist!”

You know who REALLY deserves to see ‘the best of London’, but rarely does? Londoners.
The world deserves to see the best of London. Our £7m global campaign will challenge the rise of disinformation about our capital. It’s time to set the record straight and champion everything London stands for.

It's very clear to me what's going on. Britain isn't banning social media for children to protect them. Britain is banning children from social media because it will essentialy force everyone to show ID to use the internet. It's about control. Not safety.

If Starmer was genuinely concerned about under-16s, why didn't protect them from muslim rape gangs?

▪️Say no to government controlled digital ID. ▪️Say no Checkpoint Britain. ▪️Say no to a ‘papers-please’ society on your phone that destroys privacy and freedom. ▪️Say no to government surveillance on every service you use, every place you go, or every transaction you make. ▪️Say no to the risk of another post office scandal / data breach waiting to happen Britain has always rejected national ID cards. We fought too hard for liberty to hand it over for “convenience” or the illusion of “safety”. This is about government control. We don’t need a government app on our phones to prove we exist. Britain must remain a free country - not a government owned database state. Because no one voted for this.

📱There's no such thing as a social media ban for under-16s It means we will ALL face a “papers, please” demand to get online. Holding platforms to account and giving parents the tools they need are the answer for child safety - not government-issued bans and digital ID checks for all.

🚨Tech Secretary Signals Fresh Assault on Privacy: “We’re Coming Back for More” With VPN Bans and Extra Measures 💬 🚫 Starmer’s regime is barreling toward full-blown authoritarian control and they’re not even hiding it anymore. Just days after rushing out a blanket social media ban for under-16s, the Tech Secretary is already on the airwaves admitting they’ve got no real answers on enforcement… yet proudly announcing “further statements in July” on VPN restrictions, curfews, chatbots, and more crackdowns. Before the first ban is even rolled out. This isn’t about protecting kids. It’s a thirst for surveillance and censorship. They want zero privacy. They want to know exactly what you’re doing and saying online at all times. Age verification, facial scans, VPN blocks – the infrastructure of a digital police state. Starmer is an authoritarian with no real mandate, racing to ram this through before the public boots him out. No detailed plan, no proper scrutiny, just more control. This country is being f*cked by a government obsessed with power over people.

Dear brothers and sisters in the UK, Do not verify your identify with digital ID, facial recognition, passports, or credit cards. Do not use Starm Trooper's system to access the Internet. Two Tier Keir will turn your compliance against you. Signed, A Concern American
JUST IN: UK Government clarifies adults will still be able to use social media by verifying their identities with digital IDs, facial recognition, passports and credit cards.

The ban on social media for children under 16 is an idea that has merits. But the way it is being done is simply a way to force everyone, including adults, to identify themselves online, creating the most powerful surveillance and censorship architecture in human history.

So it seems that adults will need to verify their age with digital ID, face scan or similar methods to be allowed to use social media in Britain It's clear that this is not about protecting children They are introducing totalitarian control systems and many don't even realize

Can I suggest that people screenshot this image. And every time an MP posts about rejecting the EHRC guidance into single sex spaces, you reply with it and ask if ‘Paula’ should be allowed in women-only spaces. They won’t answer. But their silence will also speak volumes.

Starmer’s social media ban branded ‘a rush job’ Prime Minister accused of expediting restrictions for under-16s in effort to save his legacy Not just a ‘rush job’ It’s an assault on all adults - Forcing Digital ID Verification on everyone in Britain Internal government documents, released on Monday, revealed concerns from the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s (DSIT) own expert panel that there was a “substantial” lack of evidence to justify key aspects of the plans 3 weeks to ‘assess’ it?! This will not protect kids. Australia demonstrates this. What it would do is force us all into Digital ID to get on Digital Public Square It is a hit job on privacy & is draconian & wrong @Keir_Starmer Make your voice heard challenge this
