I think this is silver's vision & the finals were entertaining this year but I def prefer dynasties (except the thunder, get them tf outta here)

The experience leads to discipline - & in a close playoff game discipline, experience, & (in Wembys case) physical maturity & stamina can change a possession that swings a series

If this was a reasonable org multiple ppl would've been fired.. or fired themselves from bball decisions.. for the dead trades that went on to be championship level impact players for other teams....that were sacrificed on the altar of all that drama with the dubs

Took me watching breakdowns of Steph's game after KD left to really get it
By the time that 22 ring hit I knew there might not be 2 guards better than him man
shortcuts like βgravityβ and βMamba Mentalityβ were supposed to help explain two of the densest players ever, but ended up oversimplifying their process, so now a lot of ppl donβt fully understand why they were so great, so their names get played with way more than they should

Lived on both coasts (socal northeast) also. It's accurate & kind of an understated dynamic in usa how many benefits come w living near good colleges, even if you didn't go to one.
Much more likely to have a strong middle class, good schools for kids, & better jobs
As a Londonder who moved to USA and lived in the Northeast and the west coast, I have noticed a HUGE intelligence gap between the 2
In New England / New York people are much more cultured, self aware and mindful of other people. In California many more self centered, conflict driven people who find it hard to step out of their own worldview.
I wonder if university culture plays a part in this.
