Crosby, Stills & Nash is the debut studio album by the folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN), released on May 29th in 1969 by Atlantic Records. It is the only release by the band prior to adding Neil Young to their lineup. The album spawned two Top 40 singles, "Marrakesh Express" and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes". The photo was taken by their friend and photographer Henry Diltz before they came up with a name for the group. They found an abandoned house with an old, battered sofa outside, located at 815 Palm Avenue, West Hollywood. When they developed the picture they knew it was great. But they realized they were sitting in the "wrong" order. They considered reversing the image, but then the guitar would point the wrong way. They went back the next day to re-take the picture, but the house was demolished.

Manhattanhenge is back 🌇 Tonight: May 27 — 8:13 PM Tomorrow: May 28 — 8:14 PM That moment when the sunset lines up perfectly w/Manhattan’s street grid. 🗽 Tip: You can still catch it a few days before & after too, if the sun isn’t perfectly centered, it’s still beautiful. 🧡

this was so sweet. Stephen Colbert just ended his final episode of The Late Show while singing "Hello, Goodbye" with Paul McCartney. his family and the show's crew then joined them on stage before Paul turned off the lights to the Ed Sullivan Theater
