Well, my trip home wasn’t quite as efficient as the outbound journey. Our connection at YVR was a shit-show thanks to an idiot change they’re making pax follow when arriving internationally. Upon arriving at YYZ, we got stuck on the tarmac 35 mins waiting for a gate, then had to wait another 75 mins for our luggage due to a balky cargo door on our aircraft. All told, it was 12:15AM before I rolled into the driveway…28 hours door to door.😵‍💫 Still, despite all that, I was still out the door this morning for my run/walk routine..knocked another 30s off my average time.👍

Flying @AirCanada outbound YYZ-YVR-PVG is pretty painless. Coming back the other way is the exact opposite: the people at @yvrairport who designed the connection procedure from international arrivals to CDN connections either hate their passengers, or they’re imbeciles. Just a chaotic, stressful experience that isn’t merited. @AirCanada has absolutely no business offering connections at this airport of less than 2.5 hours for international to domestic connections under the current system. Do better. Do much better. You need to start acting like pragmatism and customer service actually matter to you 😊

Well, I’m all packed for my trip to China tomorrow…but it’s gonna be a looooonng day of travel: 2:45am wake up 6AM flight from YYZ-YVR 2 hr transfer time in YVR 11AM local flight from YVR-PDG (12.5 hrs) 3PM local arrival. I then need to wait ~4 hrs for my marketing manager to arrive on another flight. 5 hour drive to Yunhe. ETA factory dorm is 1AM local. Roughly 34 hours door to door.😵‍💫 Thank God my company pays for J class.
