I've been testing this since version 0.0.0, it's rock solid and a must have for every WordPress site. I'd like to see every webhost on the planet buy this and make in an mu plugin on their platform, it's that good.

𧡠About five weeks ago, pre wpdrama, I started working on the relaunch of the snicco/fortress site.
And... TBH, I hated every minute of it.
I'm used to working all day in the IDE, not WordPress. PHPStorm has me spoiled - everything is one key press away, barely using the mouse.
I started building something to scratch my own itch for what, I thought, would be a quick 2-hour job.
Instead, it turned into something that, I believe, will fundamentally change how many power users and agencies use WordPress going forward - CommandUI.

If you've ever searched Google for WordPress plugin development articles, you've probably seen Josh's work. This is a great ebook if you're looking to upgrade from the ubiquitous singleton pattern most of first learn when we make our first plugin to something more modern.

What's old is new again π I remember the push for 1 page checkouts in Woocommerce many years ago, and the eventual success of the "Shopify 3 step" checkout that was meant to reduce the friction of too many form fields. It stuck and was imitated by nearly everyone. Welcome back.

Reminder for the WP devs out there! True, WP core will throw a ton of warnings on 8.1, and even Woocommerce and their official addons have limited support for 8.1. Don't let their slowness become your policy. Get those themes and plugins tested and updated.

β As of today, PHP 7.4, and with that PHP 7 is no longer supported.
π Please upgrade to PHP 8.0, or preferably the latest PHP 8.1 release, 8.1.13.
π PHP 8.2 comes out on December 8th!

That feeling when you try to book impromptu tickets to go up the @TourCNTower but the site is broken it declines 6 cards from 3 people on 3 devices. Broken websites shouldn't exist in 2021 people.

An expensive lesson for other businesses in choosing the right service provider. Last draw cut off at $5MM, todays was set to be 2.5x as much, and @SolutionsAscend systems have crashed all day, leaving the current pot at $1MM. Leaving $11MM on the table?
