a) The game was ended because time had naturally expired.
b) The game was ended because the Hearts players did not want to come out onto the pitch again because of concerns about player safety.
What does the tape literally say.

This unequivocally confirms three things:
a) The game had not finished.
b) The referee had not blown the whistle.
c) The much ended because of the pitch invasion, and the perceived safety risk to Hearts players.

If I were Hearts, I'd be all over the SFA for the match not being finished as the outcome stipulated in their rules is Celtic forfeit the match and a 3-0 win is declared for the non-offending team. Hearts players were assaulted during that pitch invasion so could not carry on.

THere can be absolutely no way back for Andrew Dallas for this and for John Beaton too. Referees need to know the rules...I mean it is still not "clear and obvious" that it hit his hand, but now we find out if it did it's still not a penalty....wow!!!

Taking a leaf out of Graeme Souness' book, rebuild should have started with the defence so other than Rommens we need to get 4 players of the highest calibre in there. A new GK is a must, experienced RB that can actually defend and a no nonsense CB to partner Graham from Dundee.
