“People in authority lie.” “My father told me when I was 13-years old, he said, ‘People in authority lie, & that the job of a citizen in every democracy is to maintain a fear & skepticism of government authority.’”

NIH released the following statement to Malone News. Statement says NIH leadership knew of reported smuggling incident in Jan 2026: “In January 2026, NIH leadership were made aware of the incident at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport involving NIH staff members. Upon notification, NIH leadership immediately activated established agency protocols to safeguard related laboratory facilities, research materials, and biological samples. These actions included securing relevant laboratory spaces, restricting access to affected areas, and conducting a comprehensive audit and inventory assessment to verify that all materials were appropriately accounted for, documented, and maintained in accordance with all relevant biosafety policies, requirements, and procedures. NIH also took appropriate personnel actions and took all relevant steps to confirm that there was no risk at any time to the staff or public in or around the RML facility. This matter is currently under investigation, and NIH is cooperating fully with law enforcement and appropriate authorities. Because this is an ongoing investigation and personnel matter, we are limited in what additional information we can provide at this time. NIH is committed to maintaining the highest standards of biosafety, biosecurity, and stewardship of research materials. NIH leadership continues to prioritize biosafety across the agency and to promote a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and responsible scientific research throughout the biomedical research enterprise.” -NIH statement to Malone News Source: x.com/rwmalonemd/status/2062…

I've written the full story — who Munster is, the DEFUSE connection, the mpox GOF controversy, and what this case means for the biodefense establishment. Read it here: malone.news/p/the-next-pande… If this matters to you, retweet tweet 1 at the top of this thread. The people who need to see this aren't looking for it.

According to its website, the Rocky Mountain Lab (RML) in Montana is a biolab run by the NIH. According to Senator Rand Paul, RML is “run by spooks and intelligence agency people.” Source: @ggreenwald interview, streamed June 5, 2024, #277, at mark 1:01:17.

Rocky Mountain Labs virologist Vincent Munster was "charged today in a criminal complaint with conspiracy to smuggle monkeypox into the United States and giving false statements to federal law enforcement" “These NIH experts apparently broke our laws by smuggling viral pathogens on a packed commercial airplane from an outbreak in the Republic of Congo. Let that sink in,” United States Attorney Gorgon stated. justice.gov/usao-edmi/pr/fed…

🚨Virologist Dr. Vincent Munster ran a NIH lab in Montana & also was funded by the DOD. He faces 5 yrs in jail & likely deportation if convicted of the smuggling & lying charges. Why would he risk his high-security-clearance job in a top BSL-4 biolab to skip some paperwork? Kudos to the CBP agents who stopped the Wild West at the border.

It’s horrible, but not unthinkable, that US Govt-funded bioresearch may have caused people to become really really sick. Dana is a true fighter for Lyme patients & transparency, in addition to being a class act. 👏
HISTORIC DAY FOR LYME! I was honored to be part of it. Here’s my speech 🎤

Smart comms folks like Liz get the boss’ sign off before posting that a Congressional hearing was “dishonest political theater”. Her boss said this in 2021.👇Something change besides his agency? h/t @SharriMarkson, Sky News investigation, Sept. 2021

Will be earth-shattering in DC that the chairman of the Senate health committee is on track to lose his primary tonight & thus will be a lame duck until his replacement is chosen in November. Will be interesting to see what Sec. Kennedy rolls out next. Wow.

What if it’s Jan 2020 & someone says “if you accuse or falsely accuse x country of a COVID lab incident, your mom/spouse/kid will not get the chemo or other lifesaving drugs they need?” Or “we might go to war.” Might you bury what you know or suspect? Heavy.

Why the high rat virus cruise-ship interest? Maybe folks appreciate having something other than politics to talk about at end-of-the-year get togethers & on their kids’ sidelines. The struggle is real.

🚨If accurate, is this a Dr. Ralph Baric bombshell? Baric “stripped the discussion on lab leak” from his Jan 2020 presentation *after* Intelligence Community meeting.
