Through our collective actions, CAPS-UAW Scientists reached an agreement with the state to suspend the administration’s 4-day Return to Office (RTO), with no strings attached. Together, we committed to protecting our rights and refused to trade the RTO delay for salary cuts.

UAW Region 6 members call for the immediate release of David Huerta, President of SEIU California and SEIU United Service Workers West, who was detained and injured during an ICE raid in Los Angeles while exercising his First Amendment right to peacefully observe. We also call for an end to the Trump administration’s ongoing attacks on immigrant workers and the cruel use of ICE raids to spread fear, tear apart families, and threaten working people. UAW members are proud to join with our broader labor movement in standing up against these attacks on immigrant workers, and are in full solidarity with President Huerta and our SEIU siblings.
