Then, Rodolfo Durán reached with 1 out on a play that featured errors by both Jackson Holliday and Henderson.

Why does this team STILL have piss poor defense? There’s an obvious lack of accountability/respect somewhere. Or maybe it’s a culture thing. Whatever it is, the Orioles are not a winning baseball team and won’t be until something changes.

No one is knocking down the doors in the AL East, but the Orioles must win series against teams like the Padres when they are playing at home. There is absolutely no reason for a talented team to play like a playoff team last 10 games and play like a AAA team the next 10 games.

Orioles manager Craig Albernaz on the HBP/ejections in the 9th inning:
"Trey hit Bogaerts in the head and their dugout didn’t like it at all. Obviously, it definitely wasn’t intentional. It was a two-seam that slipped out of his hand.
"I get there why they’re mad, the ball hit him in the head and he had to come out of the game. I’m not saying the ball to Gunnar was on purpose, but it was done the right way. And that’s why there was no gripes from us and Gunnar was fine with it and just took it to first base."
