I was talking to someone today about @Tesla Self-Driving when they mentioned that their grandparents just traded in their Volvo for a Tesla specifically because of the Self-Driving capability to get them to and from doctors appointments.
Due to their older age and health issues, they wanted something that would safely get them back and forth while also removing the stress of driving.
This is such an important use case.

Hey so the Tesla AI team cooked with 14.3.4 on the Cybertruck. It’s so much smoother and confident, and doesn’t turn too close to curbs anymore.
We are getting so close to unsupervised with this release.

n=3 but this is starting to paint a picture
in all of the pillar/pole collisions we've seen the following is always true:
1. empty context / start of drive (aka fsd doesn't have memory of objects/pillars/pole entering a blindspot)
2. pillar/pole is in a camera blindspot
in all of them it appears that the objects do exit blindspots, at least momentarily, within seconds of starting, so in theory this a solvable problem without additional memory/compaction methods for these specific cases
surely, though, there are cases though where objects will not exit a blind spot and better memory mechanisms are going to be needed as long as blindspots exist
in the meantime, i'm happy to use smart summon when not parked around any pillars

I probably shouldn’t have done this but I raw dogged a portion of my panels with unfiltered hose water (we have hard water) to see how much of a difference just spraying them would make. Production very clearly increased with how dusty they were.
Unless you can wash them yourself, the ROI to pay someone to professionally clean them isn’t there though.

Also I love the "Charge on Solar" feature which just siphons off whatever extra solar energy the house isn't using to charge my Cybertruck
