Excited to announce a partnership between @Overlap_AI & @FoulTerritoryTV ⚾️ The Foul Territory podcast network has built one of the fastest growing digital brands in baseball media, centered around player voices and conversations fans actually care about. We’re thrilled to partner with them to help scale short-form video even further. Using Overlap’s AI agents, the Foul Territory team has been automating clips on autopilot, making it easier to increase output, expand reach, and get more out of every show. AI agents working alongside creative teams to scale content operations, distribution, and monetization is the future of sports media. Huge thanks to @marc_weiner, @MichaelJBier, @scottbraun, and the broader Foul Territory team.

a brief history of clipping the idea of 'clipping' started in 2021 and rose meteorically as streamers adopted it following the release of Reels and Shorts. for the next few years, clipping growth stagnated as society first developed its addiction to short form video. in 2025, over 80% of all internet traffic was short form video. in early 2025, Whop released @contentrewards, allowing people to be paid out on a performance basis. A win-win we released @Overlap_AI workflows in June 2025, with immediate adoption from iHeart Media, the world’s largest podcast publisher media companies have finally realized that they need to control the narrative in short form. it's only a matter of time before other companies follow suit

agi will certainly come from companies training world models oai anthropic are too busy racing for language imitation and neglect physical understanding
It’s time to go beyond language models. Introducing Odyssey-2 Max, our most powerful world model yet. It materially advances the SOTA in physical accuracy. This is a big step toward models that simulate and interact with the world in real time. A new intelligence entirely!

if cursor removes model selection from their product in favor of Composer 3, they'll instantly lose to Claude Code/Codex
Apr 21
SpaceXAI and @cursor_ai are now working closely together to create the world’s best coding and knowledge work AI. The combination of Cursor’s leading product and distribution to expert software engineers with SpaceX’s million H100 equivalent Colossus training supercomputer will allow us to build the world’s most useful models. Cursor has also given SpaceX the right to acquire Cursor later this year for $60 billion or pay $10 billion for our work together.

What people often missed about clipping is that there are different types: (1) Content Rewards: Where creators or brands create a bounty program, paying only for the views that a clip garners. This is great for teams that need one-off growth but leaves the campaign sponsor with no value after the campaign has ended (this is when you see a 15 y/o kid making 6 figures posting clips) (2) Secondary Accounts: Brands or creators themselves owning internal clips accounts that can be perceived as fan accounts. These are great in tandem since they are repeatable and often create new revenue streams once they’ve reached monetization. This is an increasing use case we’ve seen for our customers If I were a media company or podcast owner right now, I would do both

Many chief clipping officers are emerging They're frequently using Overlap to manage a team of agents that autonomously run clip accounts It's one of the only ways to be visible on socials
We'll soon see the rise of the "Chief Clipping Officers" at companies The person who figures out the 47 second moment inside the 2 hour podcast that gets 10M views Probably will be the highest paid marketing hire of 2027
