I have nothing against showing caste oppression through cinema but my problem is with propaganda. Prime Video India is a serial offender in this regard..they often make such series and completely twist real life characters. I have no issue with Dalit or Muslim police officers but why show an unnecessary oppression angle when it's not required especially in a series based on true events?

Deeply shocking to read this official US statement, which contains absolutely no expression of regret or condolence for the loss of innocent Indian lives. How can a “friend” and strategic partner be so deeply insensitive? Why couldn’t a non-compliant commercial vessel have been stopped using other, non-lethal means? Is it not possible to disable a ship's propulsion or steering without firing missiles targeted to kill civilian crew members? Practically every merchant ship navigating these crucial waters has Indian crew on board. Are they all considered fair game for US missiles now? This approach is unacceptable and I hope @DrSJaishankar had said so to @marcorubio.

A team from Salboni Police Station reached TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's Kolkata residence around 2 a.m. in connection with the alleged Salboni land scam. Sources said investigators were searching for his aide, Sumit Roy, after leads emerged during the interrogation of arrested former Medinipur MLA Sujoy Hazra. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee reportedly arrived at the residence shortly afterwards. 2. ED conducted searches at seven locations linked to TMC MLA and former minister Madan Mitra in the municipal recruitment scam. Raids covered his Dakshineswar residence, Bhawanipur party office and other premises. Investigators are probing allegations of bribes for municipal jobs and examining documents, cash and bank account details recovered during searches. 3. The ED also searched businessman Sanjib Ghosh's premises in connection with the wider recruitment scam probe.
