On a serious note, the rapid downward spiral of Twitter should be a massive red flag for all of us. Twitter is part of the historical record. There is literally evidence of war crimes & human rights violations that might not exist anywhere else. And it could just…disappear.

Under proposed UK Government reforms to the Official Secrets Act, journalists could be jailed for up to 14 years for publishing stories that 'embarrass' the UK Government - that would be pretty much every honest news story about the UK Government then.
LBC journalist Charlotte Lynch was arrested whilst reporting on a Just Stop Oil protest, and spent five hours in a prison cell. This is British press freedom in 2022.
