Feels about right
Spam email subject from today: THE COLLAPSE WILL BE SUDDEN AND CATASTROPHIC …And this is now my mood for the day.
Some fav moments involving Twitter (that I can remember): The annual Reading of the Tweets at the @happycog holiday party. Staff would take turns reading specific curated tweets and everyone would have to guess the author.

Those peak halcyon days of Twitter for me were very much linked to the web design community and working at Happy Cog. So many great folks I met; clients and coworkers and awesome peeps at conferences. It exploded this introvert’s worldview.

Twitter felt like a bit like a big ol’ living phone book. The people that I met and wanted to stay in touch with, Twitter was an easy way to know I could stay connected. Less noise and fuss than FB.
Another memory: I joined Twitter not long after my first kid was born. I would Tweet out his first words as they came out of his mouth. A modern redo on the whole baby book thing that Gen X had growing up.

Wondering if this is what it was like when they shut down the last of the phone party lines? Looking back, Twitter kinda felt like the digital maturation of that concept.

The final bite of the rotisserie chicken. Inspirational @AlexiconTom

So much sucks right now but the rotisserie #chicken man story is the right kind of Philadelphia weird that I love.

That @philaunion loss hurts as much as watching Francisco Cabrera knock home Sid Bream in the bottom of the ninth in Game 7 of the 1992 NLCS.

Well played @PhilaUnion. Y’all are a true team, through and through. 👏🏼🏆

It’s been a long time since I had to run through a terminal to catch a connecting flight. But this is the first time it was with the whole family in tow. And do it in Germany. 😅
