Juan Soto steps out on Chase Burns... And then Burns manhandles him.

Very annoying, I’m sure. But do we really have to go nuclear over ONE suboptimal travel experience?
I’ve been traveling 100k miles/year since I was 16 and this was easily the worst travel experience of my life. No transparency, no clarity and no respect for the passengers who were treated horribly all evening/morning. Absolutely shameful from @united

Maybe someone else can help me with this answer because Gemini is very confidently incorrect about a lot of things here.

Reviewing George’s penalties from this weekend… It’s a bit asinine to me that you get a drive thru because you didn’t serve your 5 sec penalty on the stop. Why does that result in a drive thru? Why shouldn’t it just be added to the end of your race time? #F1

I’d have to presume that serving it under the pit stop is advantageous because you can recover from it in race. By not serving it, it put them at a disadvantage already. Why does that result in a drive thru? #F1

But then drilling someone off track and sending them into the barriers is only a 10 sec penalty. I will never understand the F1 penalty system. #F1

And they’ve all been fantastic. This is gonna be a fun championship battle. #INDYNXT
No breathing room in the championship battle 😳

Incredible. You’re telling me a track can get a Cup race and still give a shit about IndyCar? Thank you, WWTR!
The 2026 @BommaritoAuto 500 is officially in the books, and what a night it was! We want to send a huge thank you to the incredible fans from Southwest Illinois, the Metro East, St. Louis, and the passionate traveling fans of @IndyCar. Your energy, your loyalty, and your willingness to be part of something different is what makes this event so special. Because let’s be honest, Sunday night racing under the lights isn’t “normal.”
But then again, we’ve never been a normal race track. This year, the weather threw everything it had at us, and we had to adjust on the fly more than once. But alongside INDYCAR Race Control, we were determined to go the distance and deliver a show worthy of every single one of you. To those who powered through both stoppages and stayed until the final lap, you are the heart of this event. Thank you for sticking with us. And in the end, you were rewarded with history. A new INDYCAR record—268 passes for position.
And that battle at the front? Pure, old-school, short-track, edge-of-your-seat racing. It didn’t stop there. Our partners in @INDYNXT and the @USACNation Silver Crown Series brought the drama, the intensity, and the action all weekend long. Every race delivered, and you felt it. We say it all the time: this is a race track owned by and run by real race fans. This isn’t just what we do,it’s what we love. And none of it happens without you showing up and bringing the passion every single year. For 10 incredible years, you’ve helped us turn this event into something unforgettable. Together, we’re not just hosting races, we’re creating moments and memories that last a lifetime. And we are just getting started. We’ll see you back here in 2027. 🌙🔥🏎️

This morning was ROUGH. And not everyone is willing to put up with it like I am. @IndyCar @IndyCarOnFOX
Enjoyed the IndyCar race last night greatly! wished sports weren't so pushed around by TV. Should have been a Saturday night race Got pushed to FS1 anyway for the start because of.. UFL ! And the short delays meant there were probably about 92 of us watching at the end anyway

A twofer day is the best day. And I’ve been lucky enough to experience it a number of times. One of the best feelings in the world.
The very best of days. LFG! @dennyhamlin @josefnewgarden

It also happened on the race track one more time. 7/23-24/22 JN Iowa/DH Pocono But DH was DQ’d after failing tech.

I am so lucky to have the drivers I support be so competitive. In total, it has happened for me 7 times (8 on track with the Hamlin DQ). Most people don’t have their favorite driver win that frequently in either series—let alone both on the same weekend. I truly feel very lucky.

The best part about primarily white liveries is the grime build up is very easy to see at the end of a hard fought race. Really cool. #INDYCAR #Bommarito500
One more look at this beauty after 260 laps and a couple rain delays. Thanks for bringing this look back @Team_Penske @deximaging and nice job by @smclaughlin93 piloting it to a top 5.
