Should broke scammers in Poker be exposed publicly? In today’s video I break down my thoughts on the old school vs. new school way of handling these situations. I also give an update on my little guy Rocky. New video is live 👇 youtu.be/R2yJd2VPfh0

Seeing a lot of hate on Jesse for this fold and it’s eye opening to me. Jesse has been having phenomenal results the last couple years, precisely because he is willing to trust himself in these type of spots. He got this one wrong, but how often is he getting it right, and getting away from coolers that most humans just shrug and go broke on? The easy play is to call here and lament your bad luck. The difficult, above the rim plays require a trust in yourself that few possess. Instead of viewing this hand and thinking “What a terrible fold, he is bad,” realize this is just one hand and doesn’t encompass a players full skill set. Small minds make this mistake constantly. If the guy had the straight, Jessie is a genius, but because he was bluffing he is the fool? It’s a fine line, and if you don’t understand this you can never unlock your full potential. “It is not the critic who counts…”

Emotional win. I really came from nothing. This win is for all those people out there working everyday to get by. They ask me a lot what is it like to be battling against the best players in the world. All I can think about is the fact that the best player in the world is sitting behind a desk or putting on a roof somewhere. I say this because if it weren’t for a few life events going certain ways for me I never would have even had a chance to pursue this career. Forever grateful for these experiences and the support from fans all over the world! Poker is a beautiful game that hasn’t even hit the tip of the iceberg yet for potential growth! Hoping I can be a catalyst to help it!🦍🇺🇸❤️

Both work I think increments is better, when you fold, 5 seconds gets added to your clock And the clock doesn’t start running till the 5 second mark People are now incentivized to not waste any time because time is now a commodity

Went on a quick trip and didn’t watch much of the wsop main so far but from the look of my feed one solution stands out that would be amazing for both the playing and watching experience right now (I’ve been talking about it for a long time): CHESS CLOCKS. Everyone gets a set amount of time for the entire tournament just like online. If you make it further more time is added or gets topped up. @wsop has this new app which is one of the best innovations of all time in live poker and they could seemingly easily add personal clocks to it since players are tracked in every seat for the entire tournament. Players could even have a max amount of time they could use in one hand. It eliminates anyone taking excessive time over and over which is one of the worst parts of playing or watching poker. I thought about this many times throughout the summer because many tourneys, even non highrollers need them (even a couple of limit players are unbearably slow). Imagine everyone not wanting to use their bank and instantly folding their cards pre or postflop vs taking 5-10 seconds. Less stalling for pay jumps. Less of someone wasting everyone’s time while talking about whatever while they have a hand and annoying the hell out of the table in the process. Without these big windows of sitting there bored out of your mind and wanting to tear your hair out when not actually playing, the game would become much more engaging for both players and viewers.

For it to “deeply bother you “ is fucking weird …
I really like and respect chewy, but this post deeply bothers me. Life is random, stats are real, bell curves are true. You don’t control the probabilistic outcomes of life and believing so leads to narcissism or victim blaming.
