7/10 – PFA for Ventricular Arrhythmias Using Pentaspline Catheter @Dr_Santangeli @EP_mom1
*⃣Cleveland Clinic’s first U.S. series of VT/PVC ablation using the FARAWAVE pentaspline PFA catheter.
🌟Key findings:
➡️11 patients (mostly ischemic scar VT).
➡️PFA used for large-footprint substrate modification or after acute RF failure.
➡️100% acute non-inducibility; no procedural complications.
➡️Recurrence modest over 6 months.
🧑🎓This early U.S. experience shows PFA is emerging as an alternative/ supplemental VT Ablation tool.

So I mapped this AT the other day, and I don't think I've ever seen a focal AT coming from this exact spot before. Patient had tons of PACs and runs of AT, all sharing the same morphology. Could it be Bachmann's Bundle insertion? @jacabreracardio @DrRoderickTung #EPeeps

Paraseptal focal ATs arise from diverse but closely related anatomical locations. There is no site from which ablation is consistently successful. Although some are indeed perinodal & accessible from the NCC, others arise from adjacent structures. jacc.org/doi/10.1016/j.jacep… #JACCCEP
