There are about 300 million people in India who against this govt. This lot looks for a ray of hope, an outfit which can challenge the ruling party, they constantly get disillusioned by players claiming to beat Modi. Anti incumbency certainly builds up, people become numb to hits & the misses become glaring. Natural. It’s a permanently dissatisfied market, hence any new group, which shows some hope, immediately gets lapped up, gets support. But then the chief opposition party gets insecure, it can’t let this market fragment. It’s a first past the post system. But if they are incompetent, some of the 300 million will definitely get impatient and look for newer options. That’s BJPs hope. Just wait this out. And let them make mistakes & get fragmented. Can’t say this is a good thing for the country.
