Fanless, ultrathin solid-state cooling on NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano developer kit cnx-software.com/2026/06/04/… YPlasma has showcased its ultrathin solid-state cooling module based on dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma actuator at #COMPUTEX2026. The module generates ionic wind to cool the device and forces convection without moving parts, audible noise, vibration, or dust ingestion paths. It's been tested up to 25W in Super Mode.

We release Wuji MJLab, an open-source MuJoCo environment for dexterous hand manipulation. It includes a cube reorientation task, a sim2real pipeline, and the setup needed to reproduce the system. We are back. After one year of quiet building. Introducing GENE-26.5, our first robotic brain that takes a major step toward human-level capability. For years, robotics has struggled to learn from the world’s largest and valuable data source: Humans. Solving it means rethinking the whole stack from the ground up: - A robotics-native foundation model. - A 1:1 human-like robotic hand. - A noninvasive data collection glove for motion, force, and touch. - A simulator that turns weeks of experiments into minutes. GENE-26.5 is trained across language, vision, proprioception, tactile, and action. We designed a set of tasks to test how far we can go with this new paradigm. Open-source hardware heterogeneous SBC designed for robotics and drones. cnx-software.com/2026/05/05/… Renesas WS125-V2HRDKREFZ is a Robotics Development Kit (RDK) powered by @RenesasGlobal RZ/V2H Arm Cortex-A55/R8/M33 microprocessor. The kit ships with 16GB LPDDR4, 64MB QSPI flash, a 64GB microSD card, and appears to be partially inspired by the Raspberry Pi 5 with a 40-pin Raspberry Pi GPIO header, a 16-pin PCIe Gen3 FFC connector, two MIPI CSI connectors, and a micro HDMI port. Other features include a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.2 ports, two CAN-FD interfaces, and a 12-24V DC input voltage range. Ubuntu 24.04 ROS2 runs on the Cortex-A55 cores, FreeRTOS on the Cortex-R8 cores, while the Cortex-M33 core handles system and power management. AI vision is accelerated through the SoC's DRP-AI3 NPU.
