The Iranian navy, which has been destroyed eight times, has apparently closed the Strait of Hormuz again, because the United States, for the seventh time, won the war that wasn’t a war, so now the United States has to open the Strait of Hormuz that was already open before the not-war began. The not-war began because Iran had uranium that was totally, completely, beautifully obliterated, so they can’t build the nuclear bomb they weren’t building, which is why the United States had to start the not-war it definitely didn’t start. Now the United States, which has nuclear weapons, is threatening to use nuclear weapons to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons, because nuclear weapons are far too dangerous for countries with nuclear weapons to allow other countries to have. If the United States saw the United States doing what the United States does in other countries, the United States would invade the United States to liberate the United States from the tyranny of the United States.

We took "Lekki Box" House Style to Offa, my hometown 😀 The only difference is white colour paint as we dey do for Lagos 😊 Anyway, scaled down the originally planned units by 60%. Called this Phase 1. Remaining 60% to be done as Phase 2. Artisans. Building material suppliers. We created jobs. Business decision driven more by social considerations ("my community must also have a branch of my company") than economic factors ("Is this the most commercially viable place to allocate resource?") Anyway, please patronize Jarus Homes for your property investment in Lagos & Abuja ( & beyond). PS: We can also help build your private residence in your village. Minimum of N100m worth of house pls. We can't go Kutuwenji to build a 2 bedroom bungalow for you 🤷‍♂️. Contact: 234 808 358 7845

Following Jesus Christ (pbuh) necessarily entails supporting the truth and renouncing anti-truth powers. It is hoped that Christians and Muslims everywhere in the world will keep this great lesson of Jesus Christ (pbuh) alive in their lives and actions. Jan. 2, 1995 #Easter

NEW: CNN photojournalist put in a chokehold by Israeli soldiers before the entire CNN crew was detained in the West Bank. CNN says the crew was detained for two hours. The Israeli military has released the following statement to CNN: “The actions and behavior of the soldiers in the incident are incompatible with what is expected of IDF (Israel Defense Forces) soldiers operating in the Judea and Samaria area.” They also noted that the incident would be “thoroughly reviewed.” Source: @JDiamond1

I often joke that I have only ever had one job. What I rarely mention is that, in my early thirties, I was building two businesses simultaneously. Not long after the Unipetrol acquisition, a small group of us saw the opportunity to apply for a GSM license. From 8:00am to 8:00pm, I focused on growing the energy business. The nights, starting from 8:00pm, belonged to telecoms. Seven of us worked until 2:00am daily, refining the bid, aligning partners, and preparing for an outcome that was far from guaranteed. We won that license, launched, and later exited. Today, that telecom company is known as Airtel. What's the lesson? Youth is an execution advantage. At that stage of life, sustaining 18-hour workdays repeatedly was possible. Not only because of motivation, but because of capacity. There is a surplus of energy and tolerance for uncertainty at that stage. Over time, that edge diminishes. If you are early in your career, this is the period to use that advantage. Take the risk. Endeavour. #jatnotes #winning

This had never happened before at Force Headquarters. Not in this way, and not with this purpose. Muslim officers broke their Ramadan fast while Christian officers observed Lent. They sat together at one table, under one roof, all serving the same nation. Yesterday, Inspector-General of Police IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc( ), NPM, hosted the first Interfaith Iftar and Lent Dinner in the history of the Nigeria Police Force. The event was warm, thoughtful, and full of meaning. This was not by chance. It was intentional. The IGP showed last night that a police force divided by religion cannot protect a nation united by citizenship. Before being Muslim or Christian, each officer is a policeman. Before observing Ramadan or Lent, each one wears a uniform that represents every Nigerian. At the event, the IGP pointed out that Ramadan and Lent, though different, share the same foundation: reflection, sacrifice, selflessness, and service. These are the values every officer promises to uphold. No faith was put above another, and no tradition was left out. Every officer felt included. The IGP also told Nigerians that security has been improved in every state. There are more officers on duty, better surveillance, and proactive steps to keep everyone safe during the festive season. When the force is united, it can protect the public more effectively. In this workplace, faith does not divide people; it brings them together. Last night, that unity was clear, with many shared values, a common mission, and a table where everyone had a place. This is what inclusive leadership is. This is what it means to have a united force. Ramadan Kareem. Wishing everyone a blessed Lenten season.
IGP DISU HOSTS HISTORIC INTERFAITH IFTAR AND LENT DINNER FOR POLICE OFFICERS, ASSURES ENHANCED SECURITY NATIONWIDE The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc( ), NPM, yesterday hosted a landmark interfaith Iftar and Lent dinner for police officers at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, bringing together personnel of diverse faiths in a demonstration of unity, mutual respect, and shared values. The event, the first of its kind at the Force Headquarters, was designed to promote interfaith harmony within the Force and reinforce the values of tolerance, discipline, and cohesion among officers. Dignitaries in attendance included Senator Amos Yohanna, representing the Senate Committee on Police Affairs; Honourable Jafar Yakubu, representing the House Committee on Police Affairs; the President of the Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA), Mrs. Oluwafumilola Disu; the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Police Trust Fund (NPTF), Alhaji Mohammed Sheidu; AIG Hakeem Odumosu (Rtd); Prof. Imam Musa of the Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Abuja Branch; and other stakeholders. In his remarks, IGP Tunji Disu reflected on the significance of Ramadan and Lent as periods of reflection, sacrifice, and service, noting that despite differences in faith and tradition, officers of the Nigeria Police Force are united by shared values of discipline, compassion, and devotion to duty. He emphasized the importance of religious harmony within the Force as a foundation for professionalism and effective service delivery. The IGP also extended warm wishes to Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Ramadan season, urging them to embody the values of peace, tolerance, and selflessness associated with the period. IGP Disu also assured that security has been significantly strengthened across all States of the Federation, with enhanced deployments, increased surveillance, and proactive measures emplaced across Commands and Formations to ensure a safe and peaceful environment throughout the festive period. They Didn’t Expect Him. But When He Walked In. The Room Erupted. Today, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc( ), NPM, visited the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Abuja Chapter. And the jubilation? Unscripted. Uncontained. Completely real. These are journalists, people trained to stay neutral, observe, and report. But today, even they couldn’t hide it. The happiness was written all over the room. Because when a leader of this stature chooses to walk into your space, not with protocol and distance but with genuine warmth and openness , you feel the difference immediately. For years, the Nigeria’s press has reported on policing. The good, the bad, and the painful. They have written the headlines, asked the hard questions, and carried the stories of communities crying out for better. Today, the man responsible for answering those cries came to them directly. No barriers. No formality. Just a leader who understands that a free press and a professional Police force are not opponents, they are partners in building a better Nigeria. The room felt that. And they responded with everything they had. This is what accessible leadership looks like… God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria God bless the Nigeria Police Force. God bless Nigeria Union of Journalists!
