Absolutely horrified to learn that some accessibility overlay tools actively work to hide errors found by WAVE.
As an example, this page has 361 detectable errors in its default state. However, when WAVE is activated, UserWay manipulates the page content to make all text black on white, give all images alt="image", etc. resulting in 0 WAVE errors.

Make sure stakeholders know it’s not just a build once and leave type of project, good design systems require a team to maintain, support and grow it.
