I'm happy to announce that my company STOCMED has secured a ₦50 million grant from the @NigEducation SVCG Program. We have been fueled. We will become the uber for medication access in Nigeria.

Next time you think of giving up, remember this photo of Elon in 2008.

Going all in on solar storage for my apartment is one of the best financial decisions I've made in 3 years. There's been no light here for days, and I'm sitting here like;even if I could afford to keep buying fuel for a generator, would it run 24/7? And the noise... wouldn't I get tired of it? Doesn't the generator need to rest too? 😅

Today that I planned to use it.💀
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Replying to @bourscheid
No, you don't get it. He does not have $1 trillion sitting in cash, it is 99% stock in his companies. To make that wealth liquid would mean selling all that stock which would swiftly destroy *both* the companies (Tesla, SpaceX, others) and the wealth. If he sold it all, he'd end up with maybe $100b max, several hundred thousand people would be out of work, the companies ruined and many of their suppliers also ruined. Okay, but now Elon has $100b in cash, and can "solve the world's problems". $100b divided by the world's 8 billion people is $12 If you were in charge, several of the most innovative industrial companies in the world would be destroyed, hundreds of thousands out of work, and space would again close to human civilization for another generation. But everyone on earth could have one nice meal and you could revel in your altruism.

The future is clean energy.
While I was at Sterling Bank HQ yesterday, I observed something that impressed me. This solar car park powers the whole building. This investment saves them billions of naira annually. The future is actually solar energy.

For some reason I’ve been thinking of one crazy thing I’d do with @claudeai Fable. I no wan waste credits or hit weekly limit because of curiosity. Opus 4.6 still delivers.

There are a lot of issues with using submeters like this. A lot of what-ifs? Your neighbor doesn’t pay—what happens? Your neighbor drains your battery at night by running a 2HP solar system. Your neighbor bypasses you and uses more than everyone else. It’s too loose. We already solved this so you can sell your excess to people you don’t trust. Just one box. You can confidently connect neighbors. It’s prepaid metering—when your neighbors don’t pay, no light for them. It sets maximum power output. When neighbors exceed the 2kW you set for them, they’re disconnected (allowed for surges ~40 secs before trip off). It’s bypass-proof. The meter is in your box and exists in your dashboard and your neighbor’s Telegram, so they can monitor their usage and payment. You can set your price from the onset to avoid arguments or short-changing, and change the unit price as tariffs increase. Too much flexibility to enjoy ☺️ @TSPOWERGRID
If you live in a building with a shared meter, you can install these cheap submeters for each apartment to track usage. No more arguments. This should be standard practice sef, given the meter shortage. One meter per building, submeters per unit.
