Grateful to see LitVM is putting a large spotlight on Litecoin. Much more coming.
āœļø TL;DR: Litecoin whale and shark wallets keep growing while LitVM fuels fresh interest. šŸ“Š Metrics Used: Number of Wallets, Transaction Volume in USD šŸ”— Link to chart: app.santiment.net/charts/ltc… šŸ‹ Litecoin's largest holders have been quietly growing their positions even as price action remains uninspiring. The number of whale & shark wallets (holding at least 10K $LTC has climbed by 7% in 5 months. Historically, sustained accumulation from sharks and whales tends to matter more than short-term retail sentiment because these participants often position themselves well before major trends become obvious to the broader market. With any rally, this support from key stakeholders would likely bring back retail and bolster its declining transaction volume quickly. šŸ”„ Much of today's attention on LTC (and why it is the top trending coin, according to our social data) is centered around LitVM, a project bringing smart contract functionality to the Litecoin ecosystem through its zkLTC wrapper. The debate has sparked renewed interest across social media as traders weigh whether the platform can create meaningful utility and demand for LTC. šŸ”— Bonus Link to Top Trending Coins Dashboard: app.santiment.net/charts/ltc…

Traditional payments are so over. 1. Went to get money orders but forgot my temp ID. 2. Store wouldn’t accept it, so I called my wife to bring her ID. 3. Finally got the money orders, but the place was closed. If I could have used a quick online QR for Litecoin MWEB, I would have paid instantly and privately. LTC is the future!

Tone Vays used to say that everything needed to burn before the next cycle could run. This video is a word of encouragement. The industry is not dead. We are going to see more opportunities than ever before. BTC is going >$1M LTC is going >$10K Now is the time to fight back for real change in this world. A perfect place to start is by joining the Litecoin Meta. PS: Not everything burns.

What do we do while banks are engaged in battles with capital allocators to avoid being disintermediated and urge governments to adopt central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), asset managers push for the tokenization of assets and decimalization, sovereign entities become imperialist, and technocrats compete for increased power and data? We continue the cypherpunk mission. Litecoin Meta!

Bitcoin has 70 to 80 secondary networks built on top of it. Ethereum has 100 . @litecoin has one: @LitecoinVM @CryptoRocky and @circle_crypto built a quarter trillion in lifetime volume on QuickSwap, then chose Litecoin as their foundation for LitVM for the same reason I structured @LiteStrategy's treasury around it. The Litecoin network has run flawlessly for over 14 years. The community is focused and hungry for innovation, and when you have a single platform handling upgrades instead of dozens competing, capital and development doesn't fragment, it concentrates. LitVM's testnet is already showing traction with 40 million txs and counting & no external incentives. Its great to see this kind of innovation in the ecosystem!
Litecoin should not still be here. It launched in 2011, watched thousands of flashier coins promise to replace it, and quietly buried almost all of them. The survivor everyone wrote off is about to do the one thing nobody expected. In this conversation, Roc and Aztec of LitVM walk through a major expansion that finally brings smart contracts to one of crypto's oldest names. Their argument is that the recent downturns, which they attribute to predatory shorting, are masking a quieter trend, with capital steadily rotating back into proven legacy assets that have already weathered more than a decade of cycles. The project itself is a purpose-built layer-two (L2) modular stack that brings Ethereum Virtual Machine compatibility natively to Litecoin. They point out that while the major chains support dozens of layer twos, LitVM is the only one building on Litecoin, using zero-knowledge cryptography to let users launch smart contracts and real-world assets trustlessly. Here is the part that should make you pay attention. With no airdrop incentives dangled in front of anyone, the testnet has already crossed 40 million transactions and 3 million unique active wallets, which means people are showing up for the technology rather than a payout. Roc and Aztec explain what that signals, and why they believe the oldest survivor in crypto might be the one writing its most important chapter yet... @LitecoinVM Disclaimer: This content was produced in collaboration with the other party and is intended for informational purposes only. It does not constitute financial or investment advice. Always conduct your own research before making any decisions. 00:00 Mario Nawfal, Roc, and Aztec break down the current market cycle and the reasons capital is returning to legacy chains. 04:40 The founders address crypto's narrative crisis and why sovereign networks are essential against financial weaponization. 13:51 The discussion shifts to LitVM and how it delivers smart contract and EVM functionality directly to the Litecoin network. 23:14 The team elaborates on LitVM's position as Litecoin's exclusive layer two and their community-driven distribution strategy. 35:48 The founders reveal strong organic testnet numbers before Mario closes out the session.

Bitcoin kicked off the blockchain cypherpunk movement, and Litecoin has continued it. ZEC propaganda stole the show for a little while, but the mask is off. The Litecoin Meta is thriving: L1: running flawlessly >14 yrs L2: @LitecoinVM testnet w/ >50 dApps deployed DATs: Lite Strategy, Luxxfolio, & etc. ETFs/ETPs: Canary, Grayscale, CoinShares, & etc. Abstraction: Nexus Wallet & Litescribe Data: ForceX Innovation: SegWit 2017, Lightning Network 2018, MWEB 2022, & now LitVM. Decentralization, Privacy, & Innovation. LTC is real freedom money. As this market bottoms and we move into a digital trustless society, and the unified world ledger is established, we must all realize that the blockchain tech we support going forward matters greatly. Everything is going onchain. Trust is diminishing. Macro is bleak. The path forward is Lit by Litecoin. @MaelstromFund let's talk about the future. - Ł

Cypherpunk Riddle: Silent silver veins run hot, A shadow twin in ledger’s pot. Not the crown, yet forged stronger, It dreams in blocks where others hunger. (1st Word) Whispers of the overlooked key, A higher-order in scarcity’s sea. (2nd Word) Long it slumbered through bull and bear, Now stirs the colossus none declare. (3rd Word) What ancient spark, half-forgotten, wakes— To dwarf the noise when the sleeping breaks? (4th Word) Solve: (1st Word) (2nd Word) = (3rd Word) (4th Word) Hint: Litecoin is one of these words.

Much FUD maxxing on the TL. Heard it all at this point, and for the record, when could we ever trust Jamie Diamond? Also, BlackRock selling is not the "institutions' selling" it's retail capitulating. Here's my market analysis including Bitcoin & Litecoin.

Litecoin Meta = All the adoption & innovation in the Litecoin eco Lit = Short for "Lite", which refers to believing in decentralization: that Litecoin is a lighter, faster, cheaper version of Bitcoin. Also, believing in the Digital Silver philosophy. As a result, people often say, "Let's get Lit/Lite!" or "Keep it Lit/Lite!" Cypherpunks = decentralized freedom community moniker While some may not appreciate the "Digital Silver" tagline, it is fitting because as Litecoin evolves into a productive powerhouse, it begins to embody other characteristics of silver, which is used in manufacturing and has been valued as hard money throughout history. This tagline reflects both Charlie Lee's original intent and Litecoin's progression into the Web3 era. What do you think?

I've been getting hit up with tags and DMs about the FUD surrounding Ethereum and Cardano, specifically regarding their investors, institutions, and foundations. While they're still bullish on these networks, it seems like a lot are cashing out because they think the value proposition is slipping. I'm catching the Bitcoin FUD too. Man this market is a trip. Meanwhile, Litecoin is quietly stacking up its catalysts and gaining momentum. No shade to the other legacy assets, but I genuinely believe we're on the brink of a major realization—Litecoin is shaping up to be the true savior of this industry. It's evolving into a productive powerhouse. Think staking, functioning as gas on-chain, and new native utilities springing to life while others are losing steam. I genuinely wish the best for everyone's portfolios, but the timing is ripe for Litecoin's glow-up. For the record, Bitcoin and Ethereum will still be here regardless of the FUD. This entire period will be behind us sooner than most realize.

The Litecoin community is spearheading the continuation of the cypherpunk movement. This is good for all other legacy assets, including Bitcoin. If you're looking for a community where you know your time will go toward ensuring this industry makes a difference and is fundamentally aligned, rather than focused on pumpamentals and extraction, then you should join the Litecoin Meta. Shout-out to everyone building on the LitVM x Dappit hackathon and to my friend Bits for creating Litecoin Trading Cards. I'll make a LiteForge update video soon. I want to play with some LitVM dApps live.

Totally agree that LTC Derangement Syndrome (LTCDS) is stupid. However, this just makes me more bullish. As a contrarian investor, as I watch all Litecoin metrics increase over multiple cycles and innovation continue, I realize that the heard is often wrong, and simply double down on the Litecoin Meta. We are the continuation of the cypherpunk movement.
Yesterday someone posted a fake/trolling rant about selling his litecoin and the world ate it up and celebrated it like it was real. No one cares when someone posts they bought 5,400 $LTC ... only when they sell and supposedly trash it. Not only that, but the guy who posted it even said he was just trolling. But people didn't see that. They only saw the joking negativity pointed at Litecoin. The literal hate for something like a public ledger is insane and a direct reflection of how stupid our world is.

As a kid, I believed the world was a dog-eat-dog place—cutthroat and ruthless, with every person pitted against another. The concept of decentralization was the first thing that changed my perspective on how the world could function. Some people say I view the world through rose-tinted glasses, but I believe it is possible for humanity to continue the cypherpunk mission and restore balance, harmony, democracy, and freedom. For me, this journey began with the introduction of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin. However, it’s clear that the next step is to create a unified global ledger with freedom money (LTC) at its center that operates seamlessly within the digital, trustless society we are entering. Cypherpunks are uniting all around the world. We refuse to bend the knee. The future is Lit.
