ALT BRAVO VICTOR is delighted to announce the launch of a survey exploring and addressing the challenges experienced by individuals with visual impairment in London and the wider UK music industry.
Working on behalf of Baluji Music Foundation (BMF) and funded by the Vision Foundation, Senior Scientist Dr Claire Castle has launched an online survey which will gather data from both blind and visually impaired professionals in the music industry, and industry employers and providers. The survey aims to identify the barriers to, and challenges of, working in the music sector for these individuals, and how they can be better supported in the future. The project, which will also include a series of interviews undertaken with industry representatives, is being delivered in collaboration with Dr David Baker of the University of London Institute of Education.
Dr Claire Castle has been involved with the Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research – @CIMVHR_ICRSMV Virtual Forum, presenting the ‘Mystery Arts Box project’. Read more here bravovictor.org/news
