We’re kicking off a packed day of EPI events at #LDConf at 11:30 with @AQA
Ellie Harris (@TheDifferenceEd), David Laws, @natalieperera1, Phil Sayles, @SchwitzerEd & @munirawilson will discuss inclusive curriculum & assessment reform and its wider impact.
We’re opening the day, at 11:30, with @AQA to ask: what would a Curriculum & Assessment system that works for everyone look like? We’ll explore how inclusive reform could address wider challenges incl. pupil absence and wellbeing.

I made a promise that as Prime Minister, I would bring in the Hillsborough Law, making sure the state can never hide from the people they are supposed to serve.
Today, I make good on that promise.
Super chance to celebrate all the hard work we’ve been up to @AQA around real world numeracy, the sort we all need to get by day-to-day. Read about what we’re doing in the tweet below and follow #NationalNumeracyDay for more
We’re delighted to share with you on #NationalNumeracyDay that we've spent the last year working on an exciting and brand new numeracy assessment that focuses on real-world maths.
Through our Plan for Change, we’re harnessing technology to bring exam results into the 21st century.
Much easier for students, less paperwork for parents, less admin for teachers, and less costly for taxpayers.

AQA welcomes the publication of the interim report of the Curriculum and Assessment Review. In our submission to the review’s call for evidence, we highlighted that exams work and that GCSEs and A-levels are robust and respected routes that prepare students for further study. 1/8

“We can’t wait for a digital big bang,” says AQA CEO Colin Hughes in @SchoolsWeek. “We must keep making incremental progress to maximise its potential for better, fairer assessment.” schoolsweek.co.uk/the-franci…
As a council we’ve worked to install on street e-bike bays but @limebike have been consistently putting huge amounts of these bikes in this spot in the last week, blocking the pavement.
As @JoRigby_Balham says please work with us here and stop deploying the bikes in this way
This week, we’ve discussed all things qualifications at the Labour party conference. From the future of exams and the curriculum to closing the disadvantage gap, it was brilliant to meet so many people as passionate about education as we are. #Lab24
