This is the UC system’s union for their laboratory workers. There was a big story in the LA Times last late fall about how people were quitting right and left because of the conditions there. Meanwhile, the lab in Davis is the only one that can confirm #H5N1 For the ag sector.

Tomorrow I'm proud to be joining 20,000 of my coworkers and colleagues on a statewide ULP strike. There is a staffing crisis in the UC, and if administration is not going to lift a finger it's up to the workers to sound the alarm.
