Cell surface proteins like Robo2 and Robo3 play a role in IFS, which is specifically activated by aberrant activation of fate specifying pathways including oncogenic RasV12. Robo2 and Robo3 do not play a role in classical cell competition models tied to metabolic fitness. 8/9
