This Saturday in Weston, MA is Calmer Con, a Sensory Friendly Comics & Pop Culture Convention. I volunteererlast year and it was an incredible expression of a comics event truly being made to accommodate people who were so excited to be there.

My favourite thing about Lulu ffx is that she's from a conservative little village, lives next to the church, open minded, practices black magic, collects possessed dolls, never takes off the goth getup even at the beach, and she's still generally liked by everyone

Got a chance to see Peter Ash Lee's "The Last Mermaid" exhibition at the Lyle Gallery in NY. It focuses on the amazing lives of the Haeyneo, women divers of Jeju Island. Profound and comforting, highly recommended if you're in town!
