It is a truth universally acknowledged that writing cover copy involves meticulous preparation including: -staring at wall for 40 minutes -shuffling around, muttering to self (20 min) -at least 4 types of snacks -more wall staring DO NOT attempt any typing w/out this protocol!

Weird that State of JS is ranked so poorly on Hacker News given the number of upvotes (including a much-better ranked link with similar stats for comparison). Is it getting downvoted? Do people suffer from (State of) JavaScript fatigue…?

This is so true and I should nail this to my wall. It’s so true. All work is worthwhile and is a new reflection of a new you. Early success is difficult to swallow and can leave a residue of insecurity.
