...and it represents the hottest year yet.
The climate stripes, designed here at the University, show rising average annual temperatures across the world and @ed_hawkins says last year was "off the end of the scale.”

I updated my little picture #dataviz I entered for @ESAclimate competition to November 2023, which shows we are comfortably on course for globally the warmest year on record. This shows global monthly temperature from 1940 to 2023 using #ERA5 data.
