This is a comforting fiction, but facts disagree. ~80% of Americans live in urban/suburban areas—not some mythic rural monoculture of dirt bikes and octagons. UFC and motocross have passionate followings; they do not define the working class, which spans cities, factories, warehouses, and trades nationwide. Trump’s spectacles are effective base mobilization—standard political theater, not profound insight into a “forgotten majority.” The left doesn’t misunderstand America; this framing does, by reducing a vast, diverse country to a cartoonish elite-vs-authentic binary. Working people everywhere want rising wages, safety, and opportunity. They’re not a lifestyle brand. America is far more interesting and complex than the LARP.

Trump used the Armed Forces Full Honor Cordon — soldiers who escort fallen heroes and heads of state — to usher UFC fighters past Abraham Lincoln’s statue like they’re celebrities on a red carpet. I am LIVID. And everyone else should be too.

All on his birthday so he can claim a victory Obama already had
yes, a timeline. cance an agreement with Iran that trumps own national security team said was working, start a war, spend 100 billion and cause massive inflation, create an agreement that is not as good as the one we signed before.. and call it a win lol. You people are in a cult

For years, Trump allies argued DEI was wrong because promotions and leadership positions should be based on merit, not race or gender. Pete Hegseth: "We will have the most merit-based, color-blind military possible." Now multiple reports raise concerns that senior Black and female officers have been removed, sidelined, or had promotions delayed while leadership ranks have become overwhelmingly white and male. If race and gender are influencing promotion decisions, that's not meritocracy. It's the same principle they said they were fighting. Receipts below. 👇

How much taxpayer dollars Donald Trump is spending on his birthday, including military jets fly-over: $10s of millions. How much of our money all the other presidents spent on their birthdays combined: ZERO. We're not a country to Trump, we're an ATM.

🇺🇸🇮🇱 US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee says Israel is so "successful" because "God protects it." Turns out "God" works out of Washington D.C., deploys carrier strike groups, vetoes UN resolutions, and sends $4 billion a year in military aid. Most of these projects were started by Joe Biden and paid for by the Joe Biden infrastructure act. They were started in anticipation of the 250th anniversary which just happened to occur during the Trump Regime. He deserves little to no credit for this.

You’re high as a kite. Gas is over $5 a gallon, inflation is at 4.2 and the price of eggs declining had zero to do with Trump.

Hi, Donald. Midcoast Mainer here.   You did not, in fact, “have to go to Japan” to get a Maine lobster before you. We sold millions. Our lobster fishery is one of the most valuable in the U.S.   It’s a big reason why people come here, in case you didn’t know!   If anything is hurting our lobstermen, it’s inflation (which you apparently “love”).   Also, exactly *zero* Maine fishermen run their boats at three knots. More like 30 knots—and some go even faster. You should check out a lobster boat race sometime!   I think it might be time for one of your famous Oval Office naps, because you have ZERO idea what you’re talking about.
Trump lies that before he came around, "you had go to Japan to get a Maine lobster"

... and windmills cause cancer, and there were airports in the 1700's, we should inject disinfectants, and clean coal is coal that's been washed, magnets don't work underwater, and people with no legs are walking around, climate change is a hoax, and the 2020 election was rigged

@POTUS @SecScottBessent @Sec_B_Rollin You know, sometimes you hear “4.2% inflation” and it just sounds like another statistic scrolling across the bottom of a TV screen. A number. Something economists argue about. But inflation isn’t a number. It’s what happens when you walk into the grocery store and get punched in the wallet. The president says he doesn’t think about Americans’ finances when it comes to the war in Iran. He recently said he thinks inflation is “great,” although he also claims it will “drop like a rock.” Maybe it will. Maybe it won’t. What I know is what I see every day. Gas is around $4.30 a gallon. Heating and cooling costs are up. New car prices are at record highs. Rent is higher. Healthcare costs more every year. Beef prices are at record highs. And if current healthcare changes go into effect, many people are going to see another major price shock in 2027. And then Brook tells Americans they can eat a healthy meal for around $3, a piece of chicken, a piece of broccoli, a corn tortilla, and “one other thing.” That is not a serious answer to grocery inflation. That is what out-of-touch people say when they are trying to explain away prices they clearly are not feeling. A few minutes ago, I decided to run to the store and pick up a couple of steaks for dinner. Not Wagyu. Not filet mignon. Just regular New York strip steaks. Two steaks. 1.44 pounds total $30.89. That’s $21.45 per pound for a basic New York strip from the local grocery store. This is what inflation looks like in real life. Not a chart. Not a talking point. Not a press conference. A couple of steaks that used to be a simple weeknight dinner is now over thirty bucks before you buy a potato, a vegetable, a drink, or anything else to go with it. That’s what people mean when they say the economy doesn’t feel good, no matter what the numbers on a government report say.

Nothing is more stupid than tearing up a deal that guaranteed Iran wouldn't get a nuclear weapon and starting a war that's cost American lives and sent gas prices skyrocketing. And all because you're jealous of the man who struck the deal. This is the very definition of a stupid president.

NO, election wasn't rigged. He knew he lost fair and square. Pence, DOJ, DNI, DHS, his lawyers, campaign, courts, all told him repeatedly: NO EVIDENCE of fraud. He spread the lies anyway. That bullshit fueled Jan 6. Now he's pushing the exact same lies with Republicans and right-wing influencers.
