UFC and motocross have passionate followings; they do not define the working class, which spans cities, factories, warehouses, and trades nationwide.
Trump’s spectacles are effective base mobilization—standard political theater, not profound insight into a “forgotten majority.”
The left doesn’t misunderstand America; this framing does, by reducing a vast, diverse country to a cartoonish elite-vs-authentic binary. Working people everywhere want rising wages, safety, and opportunity. They’re not a lifestyle brand.
America is far more interesting and complex than the LARP.
