We wrapped up a busy week in D.C. with ACAP (@safetynetplans). We met with Colorado’s Congressional delegation to talk through H.R. 1 implementation. Lots of work ahead, but it’s good to be part of the conversation and advocate for the communities we serve.
We are proud to have supported the Family Affordability Tax Credit. New research shows the credit linked to a 20% reduction in child poverty on its own, & nearly 40% when combined w/ other CO tax credits. Learn more about the impact: garycommunity.org/news-insig…
We’re proud to support SB26-032 to protect immunization access for all Coloradans. With today’s Senate passage, the bill now heads to the House. We believe access to high-quality preventive care, including vaccines, is essential for healthy, thriving Colorado communities.
