There’s strength in staying grounded. The path will get difficult, but when you reconnect with the reason you started, you’ll always find a way to keep going.
Execution decides whether you succeed or fail.
Patience decides whether you keep going or give up.
Rejection reveals whether you’re seeking validation or truly believe.
A lot has happened since this tweet.
I went completely off grid, struggled with impostor syndrome, and gratefully recovered.
I’ve worked with amazing people across @nodejs and @openjsf on governance.
I got early support from @ladyleet, @dshaw, @mylesborins, and organised events with support from @Ingressive4Good / @IngressiveCap community and many others.
I also spent time in software engineering and engineering management across fintechs like Eyowo, Mono, Leap, a children’s card product in the UAE, and worked as an engineering consultant in MFBs.
All of that brought me back to what has always been my thing:
- Reading papers.
- Studying how people think.
I’m now transitioning into applied research engineering, with a focus on Philosophical System Design.
The question behind the work is simple:
How do we model human concepts in systems the way they are meant to be modeled, not merely the way they are convenient to implement?
I’ve published two papers from that direction.
One explores trust in digital commerce.
The other questions static personas as a model for human identity.

Please, read and share feedback. I’m looking forward to collaborations.💖 💖
Running on 3 hours of sleep because I’ve had to rework pricing for a Potter at least 3 times now. It’s super important to me that potter merchants get value for the service they’re receiving from us. We’ll only earn when potter merchants earn… and we’re offering loyalty rewards from day ONE!
