I feel everyone should have two experiences in life. First, falling deeply in love. Those butterflies in the stomach, the wide smile you get when they message you, and that feeling of falling hopelessly and uncontrollably in love. It's beautiful, it makes you realise how deeply our hearts can care for someone. Second, getting your heart broken by the person you loved. It's painful, it makes you question your worth. The cries, the sadness, that feeling of self-doubt. This is important, as it teaches you how to love yourself. How people can leave anytime, but that doesn't mean the end of your happiness. Also teaches you how resilient our brains are, and how we can overcome any loss and continue living our lives.

I’ve mentored 100’s of developers. 90% of them learn the hard way. 5 obvious mistakes every developer should avoid (at all costs): 🧵

Underrated tip while solving algorithm problems... "Writing code on paper" ✍️ It makes your knowledge gaps *visible*. 👀 As you don't have: • IDE • compiler • linter ...to catch your mistakes.
