Deja vu, all over again.
Score just 18 points a game (which is still a bottom-5 offense instead of dead last) and Broncos would be 8-1.

The Titans were missing half their defense, Broncos off a bye, and it didn’t matter. Completely broken on offense
I mean, Matt Ryan's just sitting around getting paid for nothing right? Give him the headset, what's the worst that could happen.
Here’s one of the biggest issues that new Colts’ interim HC will encounter once he arrives in Indianapolis later today: no one on his staff has called NFL plays before. It will be one of Saturday’s first orders of business, figuring out who will call plays Sunday vs. the Raiders.

Fascinating paper seeking to answer why we enjoy games that are "too hard" (Soulslikes) and "too easy" (idle/clicker games). Predictive processing is a very cool way of thinking that offers a lot to artists and creators of all kinds.
Game research, design, #gamestudies peers: I haven't been as intellectually excited about anything like this in a decade (maybe since SDT). In this paper, we propose a new theory for why we enjoy uncertainty in games, drawing on predictive processing. A 🧵 frontiersin.org/articles/10.…
