Fix these YouTube settings if you want to get more views: 1. “Not Made for Kids” Always mark your videos as Not Made for Kids, even if your audience is younger. “Made for Kids” quietly caps your reach with: - Less recommendations - Limited monetization 2. End Screens Always use end screens. Either: - 1 video - 1 video subscribe When viewers watch multiple videos in a row, YouTube pushes your entire channel harder. End screens = longer watch journeys = more views. 3. Cards (Don’t Overuse) Don’t let cards pull people away mid-video. This hurts watch time, which kills distribution. If someone’s leaving your video, let it be at the end. 4. Notify Subscribers (Situational) If you’re posting daily or pivoting content: Uncheck “Notify subscribers.” This lets YouTube test your video with a brand new audience, not just your existing subs. Downside: no subscriber head start. Use it intentionally. 5. Default Upload Settings Set default upload settings once. This is free optimization most creators never do: - Choose the right category - Use a default description template It gives YouTube more context about who to show your videos to. 6. Chapters Use chapters. They improve the viewer experience, which improves retention, which gets you more views. Simple. 7. A/B Testing If you’re not testing, you’re guessing. Follow for more YouTube growth that actually works :)

The thing you need to protect at all costs is your sense of humor. Feed it with experiences and life will always turn out fine. Seasons will season. Sometimes brutally. You just have to be a funny person through it all. The day you stop clowning is the day your future turns bleak

Drugs and religion. They tried both on China and China resisted both. They sent missionaries to China, and China identified them for what they really were, imperial spies & social engineers. Led to the boxer uprising. If it had succeeded the Chinese would be praying to the God

The first time I found out Britain brought China to its knees by flooding it with Opium, and when China tried to ban it, Britain forced China into a war and forced them to cede Hong Kong then forced them to legalize Opium, I was properly shook!!

I started dropping the saviour-provider mindset, when I saw people who benefit from such provision afford things that I couldn’t afford, and do so seamlessly. But it’s still so difficult because men are still most likely to be asked for favours.

6 months ago, we interviewed Sebastian at ~$200K per year. He ended the year at $600K total rev from his apps. That's one of our biggest goals with our guests, to find the people BEFORE they blow up. And have them share what's ACTUALLY WORKING RIGHT NOW. Probably a good time to watch that Starter Story episode! (i'll link it below)

📚 If you’re a student choosing what to focus on, pick MATH. It will teach you to relentlessly rely on your own brain, think logically, break down problems, and solve them step by step in the right order. That’s the core skill you’ll need to build companies and manage projects.

People used to post random pictures on the Internet to update friends and family about their lives and connect with strangers. They'd eventually stop 'cos you called them ugly and broke for simple disagreements. Now, you're asking why the apps are so toxic and everyone defensive.
