I 100% believe thats why they chose to not have a pup with cropped ears. Whenever a breed or animal gets popular representation, people buy that animal (101 Dalmatians being the biggest example) and you know a bunch would crop ears so their dogs could βlook like Scoobyβ

so i am now able to confirm that the puppy cast as scooby in the new show comes from backyard breeder delta danes, who own the sire. the dam was owned by danes of the ozarks, a puppy mill who recently had dozens of dogs siezed by animal control.
