Me: "Why do you need it? "
Caller: "I am just about to start milking some Funnel Webs and I wanted to check where my nearest antivenom is in case I get bitten. "

Glorious anecdote from Anthony Gordon on expert panel on origin of 30ml/kg fluid resus target. Some people in a room decided 500ml wasn’t enough, 2000ml sounded too much for the frail elderly, so the target of 30ml/kg was plucked from the air. And thus a protocol was born
