It has never been more obvious that the large institutions that comprise the internet can't be trusted to preserve it. The internet is fundamentally just an idea, a set of protocols, implemented in the form of a billion computers, and it's just as much ours as it is theirs.

Community banks are the last place in America where a man in a short-sleeve dress shirt can approve a $400,000 loan based on the fact that he went to high school with your dad. There are 4,100 of them left. There were 14,000 in 1984. Every time one gets acquired, a teller named Brenda learns a new software system and a small town loses the only institution that would lend against a combine. The acquirer always says nothing will change. Brenda is gone in eighteen months. The lobby cookies go next. Then the branch closes. Then the building becomes a vape shop. This is not a financial trend. This is the slow administrative murder of the only version of capitalism that ever knew your name.

Before the false flag, ask yourself: why would Iran do this? They've the majority of the US & global public on their side, this USraeli war of aggression is deeply unpopular. Why would they turn people against their completely justified resistance against an illegal war by carrying out a terrorist attack?

Meanwhile, Yemen didn’t allow the crew on ships they sunk to drown and put them in hotels. The U.S. is boasting about letting people drown instead of saving them. The cruelty is disgusting.
Trump: "It's more fun to sink Iranian ships than capture those on board." And the audience bursts into laughter A sick president, a sick society.

You can just do things (completely obliterate the petrodollar, the market for American weapon systems, end NATO, and burn through our entire stock of standoff munitions and anti ballistic missiles at the behest of a nation with a spitting-based economy that despises us)

If this is the calculus, that Iran can produce 100 of these missiles that are making mince meat of the Iron Dome a month & yet you can only manufacture 7 interceptors during the same time frame, who in their right fucking mind would start this conflict?
I’m generally someone who adheres to a more nuanced geopolitical take than ZOG & it’s why I came up w/ the AmerIsraeli portmanteau in the first place to emphasize the conjoined nature of the Zio•nist bourgeoisie, but when they come out & just say such bitchmade things as “Isntreal threatened to attack Iran and Iran would attack us if they did, so we stepped in to attack Iran on Isntreal’s behalf so that we wouldn’t be attacked by Iran, in turn starting an actual hot war with Iran instead of letting Isntreal hang themselves”, it’s kinda hard not to just throw your hands up and be like, “You guys are really getting dog walked by Bibi and the Isntrealis, aren’t you?”

Your son was made an hero during Operation Leeroy Jenkins. His loss is an epic fail we will hold in our hearts forever
CENTCOM Update TAMPA, Fla. – As of 9:30 am ET, March 1, three U.S. service members have been killed in action and five are seriously wounded as part of Operation Epic Fury. Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions — and are in the process of being returned to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing. The situation is fluid, so out of respect for the families, we will withhold additional information, including the identities of our fallen warriors, until 24 hours after next of kin have been notified.

My classmate was raped on her way back home from university and got pregnant, but couldn’t get an abortion due to the laws. She had to drop out of university where she was studying medicine. Because of pregnancy and childbirth expenses, she couldn’t continue her studies, left college, started working at a coffee shop, lost the fun of her early twenties, and lost the chance to attend international medical conferences she once dreamt of… all just to give birth to a child she never wanted. People say, “What if the baby you abort grows up and cures cancer?” Okay — but what if the 19-year-old you deny an abortion to grows up and cures cancer? Now she can’t afford to get an education. Instead, she has to take care of a baby. What about her? An actual living human being??? “Abortion ends potential life”… So do property disputes, war, and genocide. You only seem to care about lives when women don’t give birth to them.
Hit me with the harshest reality truth.

Undue weight applied to the value of humanoid robots is a very effective indicator of somebody who has little practical experience in automation. The ideal machine for a task is virtually never human-shaped.
Replying to @unusual_whales
This will only accelerate with humanoids. Manufacturing jobs aren't "good" jobs, which is why they've left to countries with lower wages. We want engineering jobs.

I encourage you to think about this. You can build your machine in any shape, and you can have several different ones. Humanoids are unbelievably complex. If you find yourself needing a human-shaped robot for your industrial process, you are doing something fundementally wrong!

The most common excuse I come across is "my warehouse/factory/work center is complex, full of stairs and obstacles, and I need automation Now!" I promise you that your money will be better spent modifying/expanding your factory so that you can install some conveyor belts.
