$snap AR efforts have definitely shown significant potential. Evan has had the right view all along that AR was the play not VR, and his prototype in year 10 of iterations and now has accumulated loyal 400k developer base.
I think its wild they are telegraphing the spin out of Specs and have the backing of Saudi PIF and stock is selling off. Saudis bought at $11 and $8 and here we are sub $7. They will anchor the specs deal, that news of anchoring the specs raise along with the dramatically improving profits at core
$snap (stripping out spec losses) probably marks their equity stake back at $10-12.
The pod shop crews are short

$meta had great revenues and guidance and are ‘taking share’ (from
$snap) thats the wrong read. Things getting better at core
$snap, and now
$snap is 1 of 1 play on AR glasses / platform / apps into holiday 2026 and
$meta talking about it. Much better chance to 2-10x your $ in
$snap here at $13B EV pre specs spin than
$meta at X-trillion.
