Rufai: ā€œPeople always criticize you that your criticism of President Tinubu is quite shallow, and that you hardly provide solutions to what you would have done regarding the national situation, even on electricity where you claim you would target 10,000 megawatts if you become president.ā€ Mr Peter Obi: ā€œWhat people do is because I do not have the sophistication of the media and everything, somebody once said, ā€˜If I don't give you electricity, don't vote for me.’ Did they question him then on how he would do that? So why must my own be in the marketplace? The reason I am different is that what I promised as governor, I delivered.ā€ — NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi.
Rufai Oseni: ā€œArabambi said you took a lot of money from Labour Party donations during the last election, and he claims to have evidence.ā€ Mr Peter Obi: ā€œIf the so-called Arabambi can provide evidence from any account showing that even 1 percent of what he alleged is missing, I will stop campaigning for the 2027 election. In fact, I may add him to the lawsuit so he can come to court and provide the evidence, just that he don't have address.ā€

ā€œThe issue of taking Kenneth Okonkwo to court wouldn’t have arisen if he had stopped at those allegations. But he claimed he still has more he would expose about me in the future. So I am very happy to take him to court so that he can expose me publicly, alongside other Nigerians. If any of them has any crim!nal allegations against me, they should bring it to court. I think as a leader, this is time to avail ourselves for scrutiny by the public so that people can hear all the bad things about us. Because it is important that our future leaders must be who they say they are in terms of character, integrity, competence, qualifications and everything. So once he said that, I said wait a minute, we must go further. So people can hear.... ā€ – Presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Peter Obi, has said he is willing to pursue legal action against actor-turned-politician Kenneth Okonkwo following allegations made against him.

The rascality in Nigeria judiciary is to be studied. The Bench has allowed herself to be caricatured by politician and as Lord Reeves once called them, rascals. The Court of Appeal stayed proceedings on an election related dispute until October 2026 when Election is in January 2027. Then a lower court Judge, rather than seeking advisement on the stay, ignored the Court of Appeal Order with full knowledge of it and make a finding on the case. It is ihe no n’ime ikpu maka na uwa na cho ikpu

Do you know why APC presidential candidates would shun presidential debates, townhall meetings, and press briefings, yet a lot of Nigerians would vote for them? It's because millions of Nigerian voters are not even aware of such events. Illiteracy and lack of access to information do not all the voters to know what's happening. On election day, they would sell their votes for N2k and rice.

To all Kwankwansiyyas & Obidients, You don’t need ADC or Atiku disqualified. Injury to one is injury to all. I understand that Kenneth Okonkwo & ADC campaigners hold a grudge against us. But we need them in the race. The more the merrier. We need divided votes up north. There is a psychology to every election. We must reject every attempt at deregistering the ADC. We have to make sure the APC never gets the lion share of Northern votes. With the ADC in the race, then it’s a three horse race. Northern sentiments against Asiwaju is more pronounced with Atiku Abubakar on the ballot. So lend your voice to this. Make sure the ADC survives. They must be on the ballot in 2027. THERE IS A PSYCHOLOGY TO THIS THING! āœŒļø

It may sound elitist and cold, but modern cities should not have Keke, perhaps only on back roads or low-volume estate roads, not on expressways. Additionally, there must be a quota or system to regulate how many Keke can be on public roads at any given time; it shouldn't be a free-for-all that causes traffic jams. In the past, odd- and even-numbered days were introduced to monitor traffic and reduce congestion. They should also assign Keke to specific streets to control overpopulation. However, nothing beats a mass transit scheme. Transitioning from large-capacity buses to Keke is not advisable.

ADC is just swimming inside legal quagmires. 😭🄵 This one happened today. At this rate, they should just move their headoffice to federal high court. šŸ  Take Note: This case is totally different case from the one that deregistered ADC & Co yesterday o. I can tell you for free: this party is like a chicken waiting to be slaughtered, sooner or later. #RigandDie2027
Update! Update! Update! ADC goes to court again tomorrow. šŸ¤— #RigandDie2027

Peter Obi is indeed a good man. If you like, believe their shenanigans. It will not erase this fact. For over 20 years, Peter Obi has been consistent in what he preach -- rule of law.

Great Britain cannot afford to offend the Muslim world — not abroad, where its fuel and its money come from, and not at home, where its peace and its votes are. And it cannot offend one Muslim country without offending all of them, because fifty-seven of them sit in one bloc — the Organization of Islamic Cooperation — that treats an insult to Islam anywhere as an insult everywhere. So Britain keeps quiet. About a lot of things. Including a genocide. READ THE FULL EXCLUSIVE ANALYSIS: mikearnold.org/chained-by-gr…

This is no longer a joking matter. Before when I was still in college 1m used to be a very big fund. With 1m you can start a building project and feed comfortably but now 1m can’t even solve a month problem. God help us all
there was a time 800-1m was a dream salary range for family men, tuff.

Interviewer: after your incredible performance, you were seen waving the flag of Cape Verde with Peter Obi's picture. Do you have any reason behind this? Cape Verde goalkeeper: honestly, there is. I believe you may not know the person in that flag beyond his name. But he's a beacon of hope for the African youths. Interviewer: seems you see him as a mentor? Cape Verde goalkeeper: not just me but the entire Africa. I didn't want to come for this tournament until I heard him speak during his visit to South Africa. He really motivated me.

Peter Obi Is the Only Presidential Candidate To Account For Campaign Spending - Tanko I was there when Aisha Yesufu and Peter Obi engaged the services of an independent auditor to review their campaign finances. They provided an account of every amount spent during the campaign. I would like to see the same level of transparency from other major parties, including the APC and PDP. Peter Obi stood out because he was committed to the accountability and transparency he consistently advocated throughout the campaign. Dr. Yunusa Tanko, National Coordinator, Obidient Movement
