this summer, I co-facilitated #RainbowSummer with @Jess5th and amazing interns from @loveliteratea. we read and discussed the work of @kacencallender, @DeanAtta, @QuirkyRican, and @MarkDoesStuff with more than 100 teachers/caregivers. & it was even more amazing than it sounds.

Excellent! I started by not assigning meaning to the numbers at all. I teach them as map coordinates. This way, I can move through the work of moving items, changing spine labels AND changing the catalog. I use the process to model for our students: once you know better...
