If you are thinking about using the grpc Ruby gem, think twice about it. It's currently basically unmaintained. Here are two important PRs ready to be merged but waiting for months: github.com/grpc/grpc/pull/28…github.com/grpc/grpc/pull/31… even though many people are waiting the 2nd fix.
