The initial consultation on this project took place 5 years ago. While not perfect, the new crossings should significantly improve safety on this stretch of road. (Map of collisions since 2016 via @crash_map).

This @crash_map shows fatal & serious injuries in past 5 years (2015-19) for just one mode - #Cycling. We must have safe cycling corridors between West & Central London. It is time for @MayorofLondon to take control of routes thru @RBKC and insist on protected cycle lanes.

crashmap.co.uk now has full 2019 collision data after we processed the latest DfT data in less than two weeks.
Improved accuracy for some historical collisions too.
CrashMap Pro also updated (of course)

New study backed up by findings from @SaferEssexRoads as 35% increase in speed related crashes. They say "the temptation to drive faster on less congested roads has caused unnecessary suffering and put an avoidable strain on the NHS."
