Today I've rebuilt my personal site (link in my profile). I'm going to start doing more freelance work, so I want to target my web accordingly. The technical part is done (though I need to migrate all the blog yet), but I need to work further on the copywriting across the web. Feedback is appreciated 🙏 I've used Astro, and I really like it. I'll start using it for more things from now on.

Looking at the development of big context LLM I came to a conclusion... AI developer agents are just around the corner. Software engineer work is going to change imminently.

There's a better way to have QA over source code using AI. Working on my own tool to chat with repositories, I came up with a new approach. And last week I contributed to @langchain with the implementation. Let's dive in. 🧵👇

This is me yesterday wanting to add a line to my personal site, then rebuilding all the web with a different technology, then realising one of my old projects linked in my web was failing, and finally dealing with old Terraform code to fix an issue with my AWS infra 🥲

I have rebuilt MocharyBot. This is a chatbot based on the @mattmochary's Method Curriculum. I built the first version using vanilla JavaScript, Python (FastAPI), plus Pinecone. I've rebuilt it using Next.js, and Supabase as the vector store. Using @langchain, of course. On my first try, I used LangServe for the chat service, but I ended up using only Next.js, just because I didn't want to maintain too many things. Would be any of you interested in the code? Or maybe you are interested in using LangServe as the backend for a JS frontend? This took me a while to figure out, as I'm not a JS guy 🤷

Or even better: Finding what cares the people you can sell to, and then build it.

What they don't tell you about building a startup: - it's not just about the code - it's not just about the design - it's not just about the marketing It's about making people care

Using a boilerplate like @ShippedClub is one of those decisions that make your next decisions easier.
I couldn't imagine anything better than this. 188 people are successfully shipping faster using @ShippedClub 🚀 For me, this is a huge success. I always wanted to empower my fellow indie hackers, and now this is a reality. And 12 discounts left to reach the 200 licenses sold milestone 💪 This is wonderful!

I've just registered TokenTrackerSh to Microlaunch! 🥳 Now to wait for @SaidAitmbarek to work his magic. #buildinpublic

Finally, I've just launched TokenTrackerSh! 🚀 40 days have passed since I had the initial idea. My plan was to release something in a couple of weeks, and 13 days after having the idea and testing it with a Python PoC, I launched the landing page with a waiting list. That was possible thanks to the use of a SaaS boilerplate: Shipped, from @ikoichi. Some days later, I posted a blog to have something valuable to share and start working on SEO. Then I started finishing the app. I built the backend of the service using my loved and trusted Python 🐍 The frontend side, authentication, dashboard, payments... Everything was super easy to put together thanks to the Shipped boilerplate. And finally, the full app is now LIVE. TokenTrackerSh allows you to easily track your low-cap crypto tokens directly in Google Sheets. There is a 7-day free trial to start (no credit card required), and then you can purchase a one-time payment lifetime access. No subscriptions (for the moment). Now, there are some rough edges that I want to work on, but the service works seamlessly. But before I start working on improvements and new features, I need to achieve some product-market fit (PMF). My plan is to share it with some people who would be interested in the app, so they can test it and give me some feedback (which I'm already getting), and after some fixes, post it on some micro-launch sites. If you're interested in crypto investments and looking for a simple way to track your portfolio, I’d love for you to try the free trial. Your honest feedback would be greatly appreciated 😊 🔗 Link in the next tweet. #buildinpublic

I'm putting the final touches on TokenTracker. Next steps: 🔶 Deploy the service and enable payments. 🔶 Share with interested people for testing. 🔶 Get everything ready for a micro launch. 🔶 Start working on the Programmatic SEO. #buildinpublic

Today I finish another stage in my professional career. Nerves, excitement, and uncertainty about the possibilities that arise. I have no idea yet what is to come, but whatever it is I will take advantage of it to learn and grow.

Don't want to do marketing? Alright. Enjoy $100/mo. Don't want to hear honest feedback? Alright. Waste 6 months on a crappy idea. Don't want to talk to users? Alright. Keep failing every launch. The truth is — nobody cares if you earn $ or $$$$. Might as well earn $$$$.
