Bronchiectasis is a lung condition you might not have heard of, but it affects more than 200,000 people in the UK and millions around the world. There are no treatments and it remains hard to diagnose, which is why @lifearc1 and @asthmalunguk are working together to change this.

Absolutely agree with this, and Prof James Chalmers and Michal Shteinberg are brilliant at patient-friendly communication. We at the European Lung Foundation’s Patient Advisory Group are incredibly grateful for their support.
Grateful for the positive #patient-centered session at the patient village of #WBConf24, it’s critical in keeping patients and caregivers engaged.

We patients were so pleased to work with Paul and Beatriz on demonstrating Airway Clearance Techniques that make a world of difference to how we manage our bronchiectasis. Patients - get referred to a respiratory physiotherapist, they can help you take control of your life.

No better in Australia. Only around a half of patients with bronchiectasis in Europe perform regular airway clearance. Techniques and use of airway clearance management is heterogeneous, suggesting the need for clearer guidelines and stronger evidence. bit.ly/3v2CFGy
